Our Lady Queen of Martyrs

The mission of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, a Roman Catholic School, is to provide a safe and challenging environment that enables students to be confident, creative and resourceful lifelong problem solvers. Our Lady Queen of Martyrs strives to develop students talents and respect for each other through Cooperative Learning.

Congratulations to Geraldine Manan of 6th grade who was accepted into the TEAK program.
The TEAK Fellowship is a free NYC-based program that helps talented students achieve their potential. Through intensive after school and summer classes.

Entrance to the program is based on the fact that Geraldine scored a 4 on New York State tests in Mathematics and English Language Arts in 5th grade.

The program assists students in preparation for attending elite high schools after graduation form the 8th grade. 
Geraldine will be following in the footsteps of Alexander Castillo who graduated in 2015 and is presently attending Phillips Andover High School in Massachusetts.
